1:00 - 2:00 p.m. EST
Presented by Kathy Williams and Melissa Drake, CFO & COO, American Funeral Consultants
One (1) CEU
Funeral directors are superb at serving families in their time of need, but they often delegate business and financial matters to their bookkeepers and/or accountants. This presentation will help owners and managers understand why it is so important to be involved. In addition, it will provide ways to work hand-in-hand with one’s advisors to become more knowledgeable and to gain a tighter control over the firm’s budget. It will enable owners to better understand financial statements and tax returns, and will demonstrate how they can be used as tools to optimize the firm’s performance and enhance cash flow.
